FYI, We request that you mark your calendar to be available to support up coming Support LT. Watada Events.  As the details become more clear we will pass them on.

 

  Our Watada Support Action Team will be asking for your support for the:

  1.  Pre trail hearing set for Jan 3. 

 

  2.  Citizen tribunal Jan 20-21 in Tacoma at the Evergreen college campus

 

  3.  Trial Feb 4.

 

  We expect to develop activities that will promote public attention and information that supports Lt. Watada's case.

 

Although no specific plans have been created we anticipate that there will be press conferences prior to the pre trial hearing, trial and perhaps the Citizen's tribunal.  There probably will be vigils planned outside of Ft. Lewis on pre trial and trial dates.  We should write letters in support of Lt. Watada, get and article in the sitting Duck, the Olympian and other regional newspapers and outlets.  Dedicate time on our TV and Radio program to support actions that will support him and his family

 

  The Watada Support Action Team will be requesting formal endorsement, support and sponorship of Lt. Watada activities as they become concretized.  We will inform the national VFP of planned events and request/coordinate resource support.
